These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of this site falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.

Cookie Policy

Feranor uses two categories of cookies.

Technical cookies are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the website, such as session management and consent storage. Given their essential nature, they do not require prior consent.

Analytics cookies are used to measure audience and improve the website. These cookies are set only after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. They expire after 12 months at most.

You may withdraw your consent at any time via the manage cookies link. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it.

Personal Data and Privacy

When you consent to analytics cookies, Feranor collects browsing data (pages visited, device and browser type, truncated IP address) through Google Analytics, for the sole purpose of audience measurement.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Recipient: Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC (USA) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention: analytics data is retained for 14 months.

If you decline consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is collected through Google Analytics. Technical connection data, is still processed in our server logs where strictly necessary for the security and technical operation of the website, as described in the Server Logs and Security section.

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time, by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Server Logs and Security

For the security, integrity, and proper technical operation of this website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records connection data in server logs, including your full IP address, the pages requested, the date and time of each request, HTTP status codes, and your browser's user-agent. This processing takes place regardless of any cookie consent, as it is strictly necessary to operate the site and to detect, prevent, and respond to security threats such as automated attacks and abuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the security of our network and information systems, as expressly recognised by Recital 49 GDPR.

Retention: these logs are retained for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted.

Location: these logs are stored within the European Union. No transfer outside the EU takes place for this processing.

Your rights: you may request access to, or erasure of, the data associated with your IP address, and object to this processing, by contacting us. Where processing is strictly necessary for security, we may need to retain certain data to meet our legal and security obligations.
